Welcome to United States History and Geography:
Making a New Nation
In Social Studies this year, we will be studying U.S. geography, the land and people before Columbus, the age of exploration, cooperation and conflict in North America, settling the colonies, the American Revolution, the development and significance of the U.S. Constitution, and life in the young republic.
Students will know the location of the 50 states and the names of their capitals.
